Script-like marks written around the rune bands and inside medallion rings, grouped by the tradition whose style each best fits. A spell writes only with runes from its own traditions; traditionless spells sample all four. Numbers are each rune's position in its tradition's list.

For the caster stations around a ritual. Each is shown large, then in a station square as a required check (solid) and as one of a choice (dotted). The four magical skills take their tradition's color. Every named Lore uses the Lore sigil, and a check that accepts any skill leaves its station empty.
